Meeting Update Guidelines

INSTRUCTIONS FOR UPDATING A MEETING
This page allows you to send information regarding a new meeting, a closed meeting, or a change in a meeting. The information will be sent to the Web Service Sub-Committee, and to the Meeting List Coordinator of the Mid-America Regional Service Committee of Narcotics Anonymous.
Enter the OLD information in the boxes labeled “Old Meeting …”
Enter the NEW information in the boxes labled “New Meeting …”
Type a brief summary of the change into the box labeled “Additional Info”
After answering the Captcha Challenge, press “Submit”
Note, with the exception of the e-mail address, there is no “formatting” of the information required, just make sure the information is complete and spelled correctly!
The information will be e-mailed to the Web Servant, who will verify the change(s) with the Regional Committee Member for the Area in which the meeting is located. Please make sure the meeting change information has been conveyed to this person! This will also ensure that the meeting information will be updated on the Area meeting list as well. In the odd case that the RCM of the Area is unaware of the change, the Web Service Committee will contact the e-mail address entered on the form… so make sure it is correct.

In accordance with the 5th Concept For N.A. Service, “For each responsibility assigned to the service structure, a single point of decision and accountability should be clearly defined.” In the case of meeting information, the “single point of accountability” for the meeting information in the Regional Meeting List, and for the meeting information on the Regional Web Site is the Web Servant for the Mid-America Regional Service Committee of Narcotics Anonymous. Information is provided from the Regional Committee Member for the Area in which the meeting is located.
